This lesson serves to accomplish two goals: getting to know each other as the course “design team” and creating a short biography that will be used in future course projects. These include the full page designing for print project (“Design Critique”), the artist bio project following the mid-term for the spring exhibit, and the final portfolio.

Learning about others on your team helps from connections to each other, spark conversation, and create meaningful dialogue using our interests and hobbies as starting points. It also allows us to create a “snapshot” of our current understanding of graphic design and interest in the subject, and show us how it can change over time.

1. Photograph

Have the instructor or another classmate take a photograph of you. If you prefer you can also take this photograph yourself. Make sure to use the HDR setting. Upload your photograph below.
